What is Qā‘idah and Tajweed?

Qā‘idah and Tajweed: Recite Qur’an Without Mistakes is a 4-level, full-color textbook that guides beginners step by step. Students begin with the Arabic alphabet and finish reading real Qur’anic words and āyāt with proper tajweed.

The book is designed for both children and beginners. Lessons are color-coded, teacher-friendly, and easy to assign for homework and review. Along the way, students also learn the words of ṣalāh, daily duʿā, Arabic writing, numbers, and basic Islamic knowledge.

MEET THE AUTHOR

Br. Sharif Faizullah

He is the author of Qā‘idah and Tajweed: Recite Qur’an Without Mistakes, a 4-level Qur’an recitation learning system. He has spent more than a decade teaching Qur’an recitation, tajweed, and Islamic studies in masjids and communities in North America and beyond.

He previously served as director and Imam at the Abrar Mosque in New York, and continues to deliver khutbahs, classes, and workshops focused on Qur’an, leadership, and marriage. He's also the founder of Marriage.MBA, with a mission to divorce-proof the Ummah. His most recent published work is: "Love Mistakes: How To Avoid Marrying Mr. Wrong," a book for 20-year-old Muslim woman.

He previously served as director and Imam at Abrar Mosque in New York, and continues to deliver khutbahs, classes, and workshops focused on Qur’an, leadership, and marriage — including his upcoming book: How to Become the Coolest Husband.
